Abstract:
This can be used to track the key values of an ink supply without anyone present at the machine. This can be used to help troubleshoot issues like Ink Trap Overfills and loss of ink overnight.
Symptom:
There is ink present in the Ink Trap and/or blue silicone vacuum hoses above the ink supply. There is unexpectedly less ink in the Reservoir and/or Weir. They may even be empty.
Potential solutions to Ink Trap Overfills are:
1. Upgrade SmartTile versions to v1.11.1 or newer.
2. Confirm the extra volume stainless steel boxes are cleaned out in addition to the vacuum lines.
3. Identify and fix or replace any sticking Weir or Reservoir Float Sensors
Potential solutions to losing ink overnight are:
1. Check/increase Weir Vacuum Setpoints to avoid weeping/slow drip.
2. Failed solenoid in bulk fill box assembly--replace.
